The Winter Fields (Misadventures) Vase

Misadventures are seconds or slightly damaged pieces. As each piece in the Country Gentleman Collection is hand-built and hand-painted, issues may occur in the kiln. This vase is unable to hold water due to a small hole in the bottom but can still be used as a catch-all bowl or decorative art on top of a chest or table. 

The Country Gentleman Collection by artist Maggie Robertson is a beautiful series of one-of-a-kind stoneware vessels. Each unique piece embraces the seams and irregularities of her hand-built technique complemented by intricate, hand-painted scenes of the English countryside in classic blue and white. The vessels are water tight and food safe, microwaveable and dishwasher safe; however, as they are art pieces and fragile, we would recommend hand washing.
