Retro-Striped Shoulder Basket

Fun function meant to be worn. Our new striped shoulder basket is made for weekends. The extended strap allows the vessel to rest comfortably on your shoulder, keeping your hands free, while the sturdy closed bottom makes it a reliable catch-all for everything from a laptop to loose farmers' market produce. Woven with a bold, timeless stripe, it is an everyday essential designed to travel with you.

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.

Materials: 100% Rattan Core, an abundant Climbing Palm grown in South East Asia and sourced through local longtime partners.

Color: We use non-toxic, organic natural dyes and finishes approved by the consumer Product Safety Commission. Each piece is finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.

Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may have slight variations in shape and size. We do not use molds - each piece holds the spirit of the maker.
